ai scoutcubes

today i played as feds against normal borg ai.
i played the map passage, and built a little force to harass my enemy.
the flet were:2 ambadassors
3-4 exelsiors
4 akiras
1 nebula
2 steamrunners
a saber and a scout.
so, i moved to his base, and a scoutcube was going the way to my base. i intercepted him, but: my whole fleet needed 10-15 seconds with all cannons firing, just to destroy that scoutcube.
in his base 3-4 scoutcubes were defending the base, and killing them costed me 2 exelsiors and i think one akira. when i play borg, the scubes never holöd this long ;_;

could it be, that th ai cubes are stronger than the normal player ones?

Well, an interesting note is that the scoutcube is so, well, GINORMUS! The thing is huge! It is supposed to be the equivalent of a saber class, and is about four or five times larger. The Dominion attack ship is also the same. While the scoutcube is over all not very powerful, the AIs are good at making good use of them.

The Scout Cube is 3x as powerful as a Saber. Maybe you are thinking of the Detector? Even the Probe is about 2x as powerful as a Saber.

ahh^^
maybe the ai used reg. cubes an not all torps hit, but a sumary of iver 200 offense needing 10 secs to take ot a 28 defense ship just scared the s*** out of me^^
