replaceweapon is not working

I am currently using the 1.2.5 patch in A2 and attempting to use the replace weapon command to launch fighters like the Avalon from Fleet Ops. Unfortunately, when the host ship uses the weapon it simply stops in place and nothing happens. I copied the fed_avalonFR special weapon and simply replaced the ship that launches, and yet nothing happens still. Does the fighter craft ability not work in 1.2.5 and is it simply Fleet Ops exclusive? Or is there perhaps something wrong with my odf:

thats probably because your usinf some fo3 code thats not in the 2.5 patch unfotunatly i cnt remember the codes for the replaceweapon in 2.5 so i cnt help u any futher

Does it work if you do the same thing in V3?

Yep not all ReplaceWeapon extensions available in Fleet Operations are included in the latest PatchProject. The missing features will be implemented in the next PatchProject releases. ^-^
