limit number of weapon fires

would it be possible to limit the number of torpedoes on the ship, so like build restrictions would it be possible to have the torps limited. and other than torps for special weapons some things just dont make sense that they would be able to recharge, like... plasma overload for the cards (I cant think of any in flops)

Only thing I can think of is by changing the ship's odf so special energy doesn't recharge, and giving starbases an energy-recharge special weapon...

hm, another "special energy" for torpedos perhaps, but that sounds like far far future  :sweatdrop:

actually i think it wouldn't be that complicated. atleast creating such weapon by coding. more problems would arrise from presenting the remaining torpedo value to the player and reloading on shipyards... yes, far in the future :P

there was a mod a wile ago that ship built its own missals it could hold a max of 5 if I member.

this would be great could we also have the ability to make standard weapons use resources for each shot

Yeah, then, like, you wouldn.t need a powerful economy just to build a strong fleet, but would need to maintain it as well, so declining economy=decommissioning ships
