General Patch Project Questions

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

I have a few questions regarding patch project.

1 - I've heard that patch project is on hold until Fleet Operations gets to a certain point.  What exactly is this "point?"  What should I look for in Fleet Operations as an indicator the progress on patch project will be continued?

2 - When patch project is continued, will it contain a lot (if not all) of the ODF commands and class labels that Fleet Operations has?

As fas as I was aware, the pp was canceled.

The next release was canceled. The future is unfortunately uncertain.

I believe they decided that it would be easier to just make FO compatible with stock mods than try and take everything they improved and make a patch out of it.

If that's the case, are there at least any plans to put back all of the Stock A2 game options or make a switch that changes the basic gameplay from Stock A2 to Fleet Ops?

The Fleet-Ops loader can be modified to not disable any of the stock A2 gameplay features.

Which gameplay features are you talking about?

All of the A2 features that could be configured by pushing the "Advanced" button in the game setup screen.  And the ability for different map types to be played (like collect latinum, assault, capture the flag, defend planets, colonize planets, ect).  Those features.  I would like Fleet-Ops ability to have a map with an odd number of players on it though.  A2 doesn't support a map with an odd number of players.
