Galaxy Class Hardpoint Map; Can Anybody Show me how to make

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

 Almost ran out of space, and the name speaks for itself. DOCa Cola didn't tell anyone how to make a weapon for the Replaceweapon, and I tried, but it didn't work. So, can anybody help me, cause I'm a novice with Replaceweapon, and Ray would probably stop whining about it if I made one (in fact, virtually everywhere he said it, I told him to make it himself! )

As for the replace weapons there are details of the commands needed for the old patch project code but as I assume this is for FO your best off copying the weapon from another ship and changing the values but having a look at the features list in the patch project forum will help you.

As for the hardpoints, you can download the storm 3d tool (not the viewer) to view them or I believe assimsoft released a program that could be used to view hardpoints.

Go to armada2files.com and get the MVAM mod. That includes fully working replaceweapon odf files.

@ Crazy ( )
I just need to know which Hardpoints are on the saucer, and which Hardpoints are on the Stardrive (Stardrive includes neck!) Storm3D and other tools are too non-user friendly. :crybaby:

Anyway, you guys remember me talking about giving the Excel the ability to go to warp with a Replaceweapon, right? Weeell, I attempted to use the most similar Replaceweapon ODF: the Hyper Impulse Drive. So, I altered the Variables, and Voila! It didn't work. The icon didn't even show up. I don't know what I did wrong.

I don't know how to see the hard points on a ship without millkshape or something like that, but if you would like me to help you write the Odf to make the galaxy seperate, then I would be happy to oblidge. :D

Also, you will need three seperate ships form it to work, the Saucer, stardrive, and the ship its self.

And for the warp thing, did, you add it to warpin, orjust give it warp abilitys?  If so, did you add it to the tech tree?

You don't need to use a replaceweapon to do hyperimpulse. Just use the odf files from Stock A2. It's on a Cardassian ship.

I know, I was just suggesting an alternative. =)

As for hardpoint maps, there aren't any for a2, it's just a case of going through hp01, hp02, etc until you find what you're looking for =(

There is a 'list' if you read the odf files, but they are hardly a map.

:hmmm: The storm 3d tool is actually quite easy to use, I think to view the hardpoints a a ship you press 'F2' and then 'n' then you can either cycle through all the hardpoints with some button keys or it will tell you the closest hardpoint to your cursor.

Do you really need a fitting hardpoint? It's not like your going to see it ingame...
