Have you already tried using other values, like 1, and confirmed that its firing in the desired direction?
I've been working this for 4 days and I can assure you nothing has changed my results.
This what I've discovered
1. Regadless of the hp orientation the FireArc Command centres on the direction of travel (DoT)
2. 1=100 degrees 3.6=360 degrees
3. fireArc = 1.8 (180 degrees) limits fire to 180 degree arc or 90degree sweep on either side of the centreline (that is DoT) Based on hp location (not orientaion)
4. There is no way to restict fire to the aft arc only.
I've tried small numbers, large numbers, converting to radians, rotating the hardpoint heirarchy to match the broadside, using different figures for the "restrictFireArc" commandline.
Results have all been consistant. Therein lay the problem and why I've come here.
