Guys, I fixed it!!!!! The reason why Armada 2 was corrupt were my regional / language settings. You see I have English Windows on all my computers (I like English on computers better than Czech), with all the regional and language setting set to US/English, except keyboard and Format settings. I have customized the US format like this: set decimal symbol to "," instead ".", set digit grouping symbol to " " instead "," and set the measurement system to metric. And that was the problem - the decimal symbol. I guess that Armada 2 detected my format setting to be Englush (US), and didn't pay attention to that I customized it. So I changed the decimal symbol back to "." and Armada 2 is running like hell! My friend (the one who could run it all the time) has Czech Windows 7, so Armada 2 "expects" decimal symbol to be ","...
Maybe this is a thing for next patch release...although I think there are next to zero people who could have the system set up like I do
Well, this, and the fact that I made X-Com 3: Apocalypse run flawlessly on my faster computer using DOSBox means that I have no use to that oldschool comp right now... Anyone interested? Say... 100 bucks?  :D
