a2 won't start single player or instant game on vista 64 sp2

is it mounted or a real CD? iv found some of the Virtual Drives used for mounting can cause issues on 64bit OS

Mounted, using Daemon Tools Lite. Might be 64 bit but not sure.

I know it's obvious, but...

Make sure you use the 64 bit version of DT in a 64 bit OS. I'm not sure the if 32 bit version should work or not, but it's something worth checking.

The DT 64bit is natorious for fire trucking up, i would suggest using PowerISO instead
