A1 Lightmaps

Does anyone know where to find Armada1 Starfleet ships that have glows? I can find very few A1 ships, and they're all dark.

do u mean like fo engine glows or actual texture lightmaps if u mean texture lightmaps i would search for a mod called Legacy of the Federation (which i think if on armadafleetcommand) engine glows dnt think have been done

Proper lightmaps like A2 stock or model glows like A1 stock, either would work as long as it glows. I'll see if I can find LotF.

Engine glows = yes

llightmaps = no

A1 doesn't support textures with alpha channels.

You can find some A1 models with engine glows (I think there's a version of the Ronin with them) but most people didn't bother with them. Interestingly, if you take the mesh and double it so that you have two of the same ship in the same spot at the same size, then you can add A2 style light maps if you texture the new mesh with an A2 style texture and use the right material settings. The downside is that you have a lot of polys. Here's an example:
