How should I guard each starting location?

Should I keep the turrets, require the use of wormholes, put in a nebula field, or leave the starting location unguarded?

An asteroid wall will give some protection from other players.  The survey will determine what is placed in the break of the asteroid walls.  If wormholes are chosen, then there won't be any breaks in the asteroid wall, but you will have wormholes to go through.

I would have attached this survey to the Borg Space thread, but that option wasn't available.
