NOD32 signature database 10444 is reporting Armada2Load.dll as a variant of Win32/Injector.V trojan .

I've submitted it for analysis by them with notes on its origin; hopefully they'll fix it quickly.

not surprising as it does inject itself into the armada engine like a virus would, hopefully it'll be cleared but then I just use what is built into windows 8 ha!

Yes, you did the best thing already. Send it in for analysis with a comment on what it is. Usually it gets whitelisted a few signature updated afterwards. Other than that, just create a local exception for that file, if your AV continues to annoy you about it.

Yeah, the thread is meant more as a FYI in case ESET get in touch with the team, or if anyone else finds themselves wondering why their game isn't working any more.

Also, NOD32 lets me set an exception for file-system scanning, but isn't counting for its in-memory threat detection system. I found I had an exception set from a while back, ie the last time I got false positives from it.

Somewhat irritated, too; I've just recently renewed my subscription for two years, too.
