GameSpy's closure vs. Star Trek games

What's your favourite episode? How is romulan ale brewed? - Star Trek in general :-)

It seems GameSpy's fall affected its supported games more than I anticipated.

I just reinstalled ST Bridge Commander (with mods, ofc) and I was looking at several sites like the Kobayashi Maru site and the dead BC Central (domain expired, don't know what it used to look like). I was also unable to find any Elite Force forums on Google. The KM site is now archive-only due to inactivity and GS' closure, likely unaware of alternatives like Evolve, Tunngle and GameRanger.

I would really hate to see the only good era of ST games (1999-2003) go like that. Would a new site/forum covering all of them work as at least a partial resurrection of these titles?

(N.B. I wouldn't want to fraction the STA/FO community either  )

And don't forget about AFC for Armada and BOTF. http://www.armadafleetcommand.com/

It took me ages to find that, as they call it, "long link". The Register button does nothing, so I can see even less than Geordi.

Well, the good part of that site are the forums, but they too show signs of time in the Armada section (the BotF activity surprises me, though ^_^). I've only found a multiplayer subforum for BotF, but not for STA1/2.

Nothing at all? It doesn't show you the page to put in your email and whatnot? It did for me.
