Minecraft & Fraps issue

Hello,

I record videos for Youtube, some of which are me playing Minecraft. I had Fraps record both the Windows audio and the sound from my microphone. For some reason, my commentary is ahead of the video.

To fix the issue, I downloaded Audacity to record my commentary. I started recording my microphone before I started recording the video. And, at the end of the video, I stopped recording my microphone AFTER I had turned off the video recording. Somehow, the Fraps video recordings ended up being significantly longer than my microphone audio.

Example: Audacity - 17:44 Fraps: 17:52

I do not think I changed the settings, but I will double-check.

Any thoughts or fixes?

Note: The microphone audio ONLY LAGS when recording both my microphone and the game video/audio with Fraps in Minecraft. All the other games it is right on track. So I do not record with Audacity except for Minecraft.

It is possible that recording onto a separate hard drive will solve the issue. We shall see.
