possible tech tree issue

I don't quite know how to describe this issue. The problem is even after I research an item required for a certain ship it won't go off the requirements list. I don't think this is a spelling issue cause I've checked and rechecked and checked again.

The ship I'm trying to build is the Nebulon-B2 frigate it requires chassis2, Galactic economy and secondary medium (turbolasers)
The problem is after researching chassis2 and Galactic economy, I research secondary medium and it completes without a problem. But when I go to build the ship it still says I need ImpR_secondary_medium.

I'm not sure but this issue might be affecting the AI for the Imperials as well. When I just played against them I used the debugger and it wouldn't go past ImpR_secondary_light because 'no producer available' but the producer is resear2 and it comes before secondary_light in the build list.

Some help here would be greatly appreciated.

You've forgotten the .odf after several of the lines:

So i was missing something then. This should also fix the issue I'm having with the AI too right?

Well adding the .odf fixed the problem but I'm still having an issue with the AI not researching past a certain item. Could it be something to do with the fact that I have a total of 14 items to research? I know that shipyards are restricted to like 13 ships, do research facilities have a similar restriction?

Glad you got part of it fixed. :)

Is this a mod for stock A2 or FO? I'm not sure about the number of research items? I think Dominus_Noctis said in another thread that there was no limit to the build items in a shipyard in FO.

I'd have to see your build list for the research items as well to see how you set it up. If you have too many tech levels that could be a cause, but not sure how you did it?

This is my star wars mod for FO that I released a year ago I think. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. The last version I released was mostly functional except for an Imperial AI which I'm still working on. I think I figured out the problem though, I didn't have enough pod hardpoints for the research items so I added a few more and it was able to research it. But then I played against it last night and it stopped with a turret. I think it was because I had resources set to infinite. I'm gonna try a normal game in a few minutes and see if it works any better. I have another thread about a crash at the tally screen, Squire James suggested I try it with the map editor but I don't have a modded editor yet. I'm just gonna have to try building a ship one at a time and then end the mission to determine what the problem is.
