Wow this is unbelievable great!
I thought those thousands of mods would be lost forever...
I wish someone could do this for ST Legacy too. :)

In the shadow of the announcement about Gamefront going down, and with the knowledge that http://armadafiles.com/ is its true successor with respect to all things STA & STA2, I wanted to draw attention to the four repositories I am aware of on Gamefront that are Armada-related, in the hopes that if any of these four have not been found that someone goes over what is there so that nothing gets lost. The four repositories are:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/listing/ ... rek_armada
http://www.gamefront.com/files/listing/ ... les/armada
http://www.gamefront.com/files/listing/ ... k_armada_2
http://www.gamefront.com/files/listing/ ... s/armada_2

Hope this helps! :)

All files present there should be on armadafiles.com as well. It was one of the file hosts armada2files redirected you to, when you downloaded a file. This is also were i pulled many of the missing and deleted files from. When a file was deleted on armada2files it was still present on this server.

Edit:
Actually i am not sure if have seen those "pub2" folders before. Worth a double check if these files are present in the archive as well.

Wonderful work with armadafiles.com!

I have been trying to play Armada II in VMs. However the game complains about the CD not being in, though it is (virtually speaking). So now I'm trying to find the NOCD crack for Armada II v1.2, so far the closest I've come is for V1.1. Perhaps I can't find this on armadafiles.com because it's not there? Maybe it's not there because legal trolls go after that sort of bait?

There's a crack by none other than DOCa Cola on a certain... site... for 1.1 and is compatible with 1.2.5.

Thanks. I found a no-cd crack and it now runs. :)
I played this game so much, but it's been many many years now. Very cool.

Thank you, I found it and I am VERY happy I don't have to use my CD anymore!

I think a search-function would be great on Armada Files.
