The world is comming to an end, i have an idea I've been watching Voyager wuith the episode where the rommies capture the prometheus class ship. Instead of Sabotage for the rommies, A spy might be able to take over a ship. (except constrution ship) or steal the special weapon option oh any ship. For instance the micro missles from the klingons and can inplemnet it to the same class of the Romies? I don't know if it makes the game a bit unbalanced but it was just an idea

That would be totaly unbalanced OK lets say a player has build a cube, so the romulan player would simply click on the cube and it would be his, uuuu I dont think that sounds balanced, sabotage is unbalanced this would be even more

so how about concentrating on the special weapon part? rommie ship beams over a spy to enemy ship, and after a while, if both ships are still there, the rommie ship is able to use the special weapon. much like the original Assimilation beam, just a lot sneakier.

perhaps it can be used depending on the size of the ship.. i doubt a romulan ould take over a borg cube, so perhaps it can only be used on smaller ships, like birds of prey etc..

IT CANNOT TAKE OVER A BORG CUBE, for heavens sake listen to yourself man But I have nothing against it taking over little ships, and by little I mean scouts of all races, bop, ktinga, rheinn, lehveal, interceptor, adaptor, saber, monsoon, and the 2 first ships of the dominion

Ok so what about it being able to take over an enemy ship and then fly into enemy territory undetected, like the holo-emiter thing. And say if it then fires weapons on a ship it is then seen as an enemy ship or summat like that and i agree with the founder so that it cant take over anything bigger than a scout.

New thought (well, don't know if it's REALLY new, but...), has nothing to do with the above - Four words: Holo-cloaked Latimum Bomb. Well, almost, anyway. Build a suicide ship with really little crew (this sounds a lot like the Phoenix WMD right now), and give it Holo-Cloak technology and a special self-destructer which can really make things go boom. Take the shape of a Fed vessel, fly into their base and REALLY MAKE THINGS GO BOOM.

@Crazy Moose: See now this idea I like
@Yaso Kuuhl: That sounds exacly like the phoenix WMD, or even more deadly , since it could cloack itself

I am the Tal'Shiar!
All these ideas just sound like super weapons, I perfer just having straight out fleet engagments then without the sabotage or ion storms and things like them.
