i just got my microphone for my comp, and i'm wondering how to use it for fleet ops.

I think you just hold down V or just talk into it during game I forget.

you have first to enable it in the options under sound, configure it. after that you have a (v) behind your name, enter a game and everyone else should hear you and the other way round if the others also have done that. i don't know if it does work with 100% reliability cause i never tested this feature deeply through

I voice chat no problems, but I use Ventrilo or Yahoo to chat over. Something more reliable. The V chat on FO isn't completely reliable.

yea, there are a lot of better voice chat programs available. fo gives only basic voice chat features for those who don't want to have an seperate voice chat tool.

wouldnt voice over during a net game make it more laggy than it already is?
p.s no i dont have a bad connection, seems fleet ops likes to lag just as a multi player gets interesting  Sad  :cry:

hm, i didn't have had trouble with fleet operations mp yet but i haven't used voice over network much yet..
