this trick only works, if the only route to you're part of the universe is trough a wormhole, many people try to fortifie the wormhole as soon as possible(big mistake). Stay clear of the wormhole for as long as posible , or at least until you have at least 2 groups of ships. The AI ussually explores all the quadrants, but only goes in and out of the wormhole! Stay clear of him, he won't attack you, uless he sees you!

And may I also say that this strategy works great on Nirvana2 map.

well i can build whatever possible and cant even scratch the timing of the AI... that sucks badass, i hope that will be changed in the next versions

Get yourself a cloaked ship in an AI base and watch how fast ships fly out of the shipyards.

aham, problably in 1vs1, but i usually play 1vs2 or 1vs3, i also play 3 vs 5 and that's where this strategy comes into play cool

I just play giant FFAs or like 2-3 vs 5-6 and have my Borg assimilation defense, AI is still weak.

Too confident in myself, perhaps, but I still win. I'd love to see a new AI use transwarp and develope strategies like attacking the least guarded spots and always firing on ships who attack them instead of walking into a trap and not defending themselves.
