yeah, we are far far away from topic.

But still, the best way to trick ai from not attacking you is to limit your explorations and avoid contact with ai (until you get strong enough ).

Yeah for the first 15 you are pretty vulnerable to them, be discreet til you got a fleet or 2 and a few starbases.

yeah, i have noticed that. if i do not explore, the AI opponents attack each other. even when their scout gets destroyed at your base, you are left alone. the down side is thaqt if 1 AI eliminates all the others, then it will have a sufficient military force to hold you off for about two hours or more after you begin the invasion.

yep, i'm still working on an more agressive scouting so the ai will know where you are earlier.. but that's quite difficult at the moment Smiley

from my encounters, if they find you , the AI still ignores you. you gots to find them yourself to get them to invade you.

thing that gets me about the AI is that once they find one way to atac you thats the way they come, they dont go any were else or use any tact, same in RA2 i think....its irritating.

yeah that sucks but what really anoys me is that they attack you one ship at a time if you have a fleet next to their base, instead of gathering their forces and attack in mass

you decimate their fleet with a fusion cube(this is a personal experience from A2)
and then all they come at you with is 3 defiants, 1 akira, and 1 steamrunner.

that pisses me off when that happens

or when you take one of the AI's mining outposts. you destroy the mining platform, then the AI will keep sending construction ships untill the platform is rebuilt.

that is really annoying

I've found that in Armada 1 & 2. I think that if your found near a wormhole the AI assumes your base is near. This is a good tactic.  Smiley
