Aurora-type Warship (FO 3.1.3)

The Lantean 'Aurora'-type warship from Stargate Atlantis (was it seen in SG-1 at any point? I can't remember) as an NPC/Map unit. As FO doesn't have the drone weapon, I just gave it several of the Federations best pulse phasers due to the similar appearance. Despite the thread title, it's called the Aurora Class in-game.

Turns out permission was included in the mod; it was in the 'credits' file, while I was looking in the ReadMe... both originals are included.

and this type wasnt ever featured in sg1

it would have been nice to see one tear up the goa'uld

Yes, the credits file in the original mod said it's free to use in your mods as long as you give the appropriate credit.

Nice one. Actually, TUN has a Zevestrian cruiser in his mod that fires torpedoes that spin around a ship before actually hitting. If you wanted to play around with it, you could have a similar effect that might end up looking like a drone weapon zipping about before it actually hit.

yeah, my achilles torpedoes do that too. you could make torpedoes that move slowly but fire in quick succession that have a long follow time. I think it would look like the ones in the show.

Considering how much people seem to like Stargate, they apparently don't like the Aurora Class very much...

well i would love it, but it would be only for single player, and i dont play single player anymore.

maybe a stargate mod would be good if people played it online.
