Whats odd with me is that if I mass produce Canaverals as well as other ships, and put them on the front lines, after I win and I go to all the players stats, it says the canaveral was the best ship I used.

i think thats caused by the ai likes attacking other ships more than the canaveral class, so it leaves them untouched and your canavaral class get a high rating (low losses, many firings). so far my theory  DOCa Cola |

I was getting the super-canaveral stats at the end of my games even if I only built 5 or so of them.

but I usually have around 30 Soverns to my 10 or so canaverals plus pretty much large numbers of all the other ships.
