I was thinking about the mod, and came up with this.  I was thinking that the races should have more different tech trees for example

Borg: Has least amount, but they are huge powerfull ships but expensive to build and takes a while to build, also slow moving

Feds: medium-fast, Small- medium size ships except for the flagships, which depends on avatar, ships have good defense and medium weapons, fast building

Klingons: Slow, ships, and some fast ones,-Medium- Big size ships, strong powerfull weapons,; medium amount of time to build

and so on, also change some of the ship types for Noxter( who ever named some of  them was playing starcraft for example the Ultralisk Den)

I agree with you and i think they should take it even further, they should change the specs of each race:
-Borg:fast repair rate, strong while being borded or boarding
-Feds:fast repair rate, medium strenght when being boarded or boarding
-Klingons:slow reapir rate, strong when being boarded or boarding
...........

This feature was in both Armada 1 and 2 and frankly I dont know why it was left out    

Nope all the races have the same specs
