Well I think thats a great idea that you would fuse 8 fusion cube together, but the fusion cubes would have to be smaller for that to work unless they would never get in the right position and would really take forever to fuse them  |

Yeah I know what your sayin, tahts what I ment, it would just take forever to fuse 8 cubes 8 times, then fusing those into larger cubers. Yeah exactly my point. You wait around for a while to get really good ships, or if you get rushed you can just send a load of weaker (perhaps only level 1 fusion) cubes etc.... Seems like a kinda reasonable strategy to me. |

I think it may be possible to put together 16 regular cubes once or twice then 8 scout cubes 8x, and probably get the same strength.

why don't you make this gigantic fusion fusion cube into like a mobile base that can build basic ships like interceptors, how about find a way for your ships to dock with it. These cubes would have to have like over 4 million crew on one cube to be cannon. Like on one voyager episode didn't it say that cubes had like 4 million drones, I may be wrong but it seems like cubes should have more then a thousand crew

You know what I don't get is when you assimilate a ship why do you loose so many drones, cause the drone actually assimilate the crew and not kill them, so it would be cool if you would have to transport only a few drones on the ship and they would then assimilate it slowly, you know assimilating 1 crew at the time. But that would probably make the borg too strong, I think its a good idea though |

mh, i don't know if it will be good to have a cube construct other vessels or such a strong assimilation weapon, but i will consider it while i redo the borg  |

Maybe have that as a special ability of the assimilator, that cost a few credits and tone it down, took the Borg awhile to get the E-E in First Contact.

"we are borg.... resistance is futile.."  |

Your right you didn't understand me, if you watched movie ST: First contact, you should get the idea, be4 the enterprise destroyed that sphere it transported some drones aboard the enterprise and those drones, quietly at first, assimilated the crew, and when they got enough drons they mounted an attack. So u see I think this could be done in fleetops. When ships shields would be down a borg vessle would, without detecting, transport some "assimilation" drones on that ship, and those drones would, at first slowly and then ever faster, assimilate that ship. Because that is a powerfull assimilation weapon, other races should have counter mesaures, let's say if you go to the shipyard those drones get killed. |

They can transport thru shields too, keep in mind the first Borg incursion, unless the Borg shot E-D first, I forget.
