OK let us compare klingon con ship and Negh'Var:
-con ship:-cost:400dil, 100tri, 80crew
              -weapons:disruptorbank(10 damage, 2secreload time)
               -hit points:150shield, 150HP
-Negh'Var:-cost:850dil, 600tri, 335crew
                -weapons:disruptorbank(8damage 2sec reload time), ion torp(20damage 3sec relaod)
                -hit points:150shield, 90HP

I think the con ship shouldnt have weapons or the weapon should do considrably less damage(about 2), because there is no point in building Negh'Vars since they cost ALOT more and have lower hit points and slightly stronger weapons. And the con ship can be built at the beginning of the game.

What about speed? I think the Negh'var is faster.

Another thing:

Negh'var:

Damage in 6 seconds: 2x 20 from Ion torpedo + 3x 8 from disruptor = 64

Construction ship:

Damage in 6 seconds: 3x 10 from disruptor = 30


Slightly better weapons? The damage is more than twice as much.

I also think that Klingon construction ship has stronger weapons than it should have.

Oh yeah and the naghvar cost twice as much dil, 6-times as much tri and 4-times as much crew, and think what u have to build before u can have neghvar, con ship is there from the beginning. And if u look at the series no con ship or the freighter can fight effectvily against any warship even the smallest ones, and mind I remind u that neghvar is the strongest klingon ship, and that is just a con ship.

It's hilarious to be overrun by fleets of con ships before you can pump out enough cruisers to counter them rolleyes

i have a better idea.
refit all of the ships that don't have weapons with the weapons of the smallest and least powerfull ship of each race, thay would have no effect but it would sure make me fell better to have dilithium freidhers that can do some deamage even if it is only 1 hitpoint. Besides in the movies all of the ships have weapons even cardassian cargo ships

Hmm, well one of them was, they cannibalised phasers from the cardassian outpost and stuck them in the freighter, but that was a one-off i think. Wouldnt make for a very good freighter if its filled with phaser-compressor coils etc.

Meh, i just send a destroyer or cruiser to escort my convoys Cheesy

If it were up to me i'd put a small Phaser or Pulse/Beam Disruptor on all ships, even ones just small enough to deter pirates or asteroids Smiley
