I dunno if you guys can fix this but I never remeber armada being so flaky if I got kicked out of a game.   I could always just go back in. However, when playin mod I go 5 minutes and get nailed with a damn messenger service popup and desktops me, and I get a fleetops exe crash when I try to go back. It's really annoying. I guess it has been so long since I have played that messeger service was not such a major problem back then. Turning off the popup killer wont help either. It'd be really nice if I could go back in/re-maximise the game without it crashing.

Try getting the patch, same thing happened to me before I patched FO. It's on the DL page. And this is in the wrong forum, stuff like this belongs in the technical forum, not Forum/Site quality.

it sounds like the messenger sevice is on, to turn it off you have to go to Administrative Tools > Services then shut down messenger and disable so it won't turn back on when you reboot. People use this Service to spam you. you don't need it anyways.

I think hes talking about msn messenger or aim/icq/yim, note... theres the windows messenger your talking about, and the other one wich is the version of msn messenger that comes with windows.

EDIT: Welcome to the forums.

you can disable that to by renaming the folder it's in to Messenger.OFF, then it won't boot up when you acess Hotmail or Outlook Express
