I keep a windows 98 in my basement for whenever I want to play 'oldie' armada.

That's why I say "Even if it outdated, it still has a purpose". Because you are guaranteed to have it work on any 98.

Yea, my old PC was a Win98, but I had to give it to my uncle if I wanted this new one.

i set sound acceleration (in xp) to basic.... that solved sound problem but in win7 its either crash or messed up graphic

Thanks for telling us man! I've been trying to fix that problem for a year now

None of those solutions mentioned above, work. The only way to play it was to install it on an old PC with Windows 98 - Second Edition. The game works like a charm over that machine.

But wait. Huh?  You said earlier in this thread that it didn't work.  you atleast implied that the graphics were only just playable, and sound only worked better.  You never said it worked fine...

the graphics didn't work right either, just it was the sound that made it nearly unplayable.
