Build about 10-16 defiants, group them into a fleet and kill the big romulan warbirds one at a time, works like a charm. For teh smaller ships have some akira and canaveral around too.

You can kill quite a bit with Defiant class and it's critial hit special weapon. No one can stand up before the might of the Romulan Empire!

Also if I don't let you ever get the chance to build any Defiant class, this might not be a very good strategy Cheesy

That is my second favorite romulan station. It's great to use, a giant ship is terrorizing your base yet ur too busy in battle with another enemy, simply use the station to blow away the pestering ship. Muhahahahha, Muahahahah, haven't tried this strat yet. I just use a massive infinite fleet of cubes to swarm complexes. After assimilating the romulans, I have a fleet of tavaras to assimilate my enemies.

I don't let anyone get an advantage over me. I build 2 intel centers and let the ship parts fly. You wont ever get a chance to swarm me with borg cubes.

the intel center is tipical for the romulan, why face the enemy if u can stab them in the back, but i dont mind if that staton is used against me in defence, but i get pissed off if the enemy has several cloacked ships in my base and is destroying my cargo ships and big battleships without much risk to himself.

Now I NEVER destroy freighters, it's a personal rule I use, it's just cheap. Battleships on the other hand are made for war and are exceptable targets for the empire cheesy

But Defiant classes have a 6.75 second reload time, I really hate that, that's the main reason why I don't build those ships, not unless I have more tritanium than dilituium.

by the way therte will be a few changes to the intelligence center. the sabotage ability will have increased energy costs and probably you won't be able to sabotage vessels like freighters and construction ships.
