Noblood mabey, but full of holes, no way, badmouthing? the stuff on that site is ridiculous. Another thing, TMP, no offense but the point is their old, and worthless, they don't do the job anymore. They get blown up as soon as they enter the battle. Cannon fodder. Their only possible use in FO is some sort of distraction and even then, it would be worthless. There are better looking, better designed futuristic ships to use instead. I don't know exactly why I hate TOS/TMP style starships, they just look ugly as heck to me and they don't seem to do any good in battle. Between a defiant and a miranda, I'd take the defiant then ravage the miranda using the pulse phasors then blow a whole in the center of the saucer using the quantum torps. Two things I liked 2 TMP ships, the way the enterprise blew up in the search for spock. That explosion rocked and the B'rel BOP design. Cloaking ships ROCK

You just badmouthed STAR TEK!!! I am disgraced to be on a sight with you. Most of the stuff on that sight is cannon or a good guess.
And Tos and TMP era ships are quite good looking. You insult me by calling them ugly.

Well I don't like them, their all plain and basic, I don't mind if u like them, I don't mind if TMP loves them, I don't care. However I do not like them, I hate their design. I love startrek however enterprise ruins it for me, realy, did B&B have to ruin my favorite seiries. Voyager atleast partialy carried out the dream of trek, enterprise however is the creation of Berman and Barga, and is an oblivion to all trek. *gathers angry mob of trekkies* "This night the evil of B&B shall be destroyed! March to Vai Comm! Leave them with nothing!" *Hordes of trekkies swarm the vaicomm building in LOTR TTT fashion, all clothed in DS9 uniforms with batleth props*

LOL OF COURSE THEIR WEAK. SO IS THE SABER CLASS! We dont take it out because of that. I dont love TMP ships but they have been in every major conflict of the Federation. Therefore they should be in every major conflict of Fleet Ops. Thats it, if you still got stuff to say Admiral then you just got it out for me.

No they arnt too bad, it's just EVERYONE says the same things over and over again about the ships. No one has given me any real reasons why they should'nt be in because of course their gonna be weak, just a cheap alternative. Same with Klingons, i'd like to see a D-7.

Mabey people just want new ships rather then old ones. Mabey it's something about how they look. I dunno, I just don't like the designs, however as I said in the other thread, I wouldn't mind a scrap yard, mabey the enterprise a would look better assimilated *is VERY doubful that it would look any better*. And as long as we're going down the scrapyard route how about the borg dominator and borg monolith.

Well then you got some sort of personal issue with them. They arnt any differant from newer ships except for slightly differant designs and a few more refits. They could be a cheap stand-in for the newer ships to get you off in the begining.

Dude in every battle pick you see with fleets, there are TMP ships, just because they wernt put in in the begining dosent mean they should be put in now. Just the Oberth with some crappy special weapon, or the Miranda just with it's mega phasers. Maybe excelsior-I with standard photons and that cool anti-cloak countermeasure the feds gave it when they found out the klingons had ships that could fire cloaked. They put it on all excelsiors and it targets at the direction weapons fire comes from in 3 seconds. So it can hit a ship once before it has time to move. I bet that would be a nice weapon against the romies cloak generator or the Kingon K'vort class cloak torpedo. Maybe the D-7 with a torpedo or pulse disruptor and a beam disruptor.
