I have to agree with Atlantis, A3 would be worse than A2. Besides paramount/ vaicomm won't license anything since the big law suit. Trek is dying, if the comunity is to survive it will have to do it on it's own. As for all this dang TMP ships crap, TMP moved on. The old hunks of junk were taken from the scrap yard and given skeleton crews to fight in the dominion war, most were blown to bits cause they couldn't take the beating of the dominion weapons, the refits couldn't do enough to save them. They were worthless againts the force of the dominion. I want to see more new ships. The canon ones get repetitive. I want uncannon. I would like to see the relativity and the hirogen from voyager in FO. That would be great. A scrapyard might be a good idea
TMP was made on a minimum budget, in my opinion all the ships look like things u could make out of garbage.

OMG admiral, dont speak unless you know the numbers. It is true 1 third of the remaining Miranda classes were destroyed. Did you also know that 800 were build over 50 years? Compared to what, 3 soverns? HMMMM, and what oh what, 2100 OBERTH CLASS? Well thats odd, it seems theres just as many tmp ships in service as newer ships, perhaps more. The point is, the ships can't take a beating, the fact that 1 3rd of 800 ships were destroyed in just a few battles proves that they are out dated nomatter how many refits u give them, their just too dang old

About the petition: What's the point? They hire the cheapest, and rush it. Then we get a relatively low-quality product like A2 was. You'd be better off petitioning for the A2 source code (or at least some of it), then we can get good modders like Doca, Optec, Phantom, Achilles, etc, to get it to being a whole new game.... It's just a 'great' event in the world of the news-about-armada-ended-years-ago news beside the mods, so i just posted it for your info. and it is not wrong to sign it DOCa Cola |

He has a point, a good one too! Think of what could be done with atleast a chunk of the a2 engine source? 2100 oberth i dont think so? maybey if 99% of them are destroyed or scrapped but still. PS if your going by ditl.org notice that the 2100 is in white meaning it is his geuse.

I dont use that, it's not very cannon. I REALLY don't see why it has to be an argument over something like this, it's simple. It's not like their a bunch of super ships or something thats gonna ratically change the game. I'm not sure why no one wants them. Maybe for personal reasons, maybe because their not what you see in the shows all the time, I wish you guys would think about someone else besides yourselves for once. I just think they would be a cheaper weaker alternative to newer ships in game.

The Akira has 15 Torp Tubes. It just can't fire them all at the same time. The Sovereign Class has 10. It can't fire them all at the same time either. The Galaxy has 4. It can't fire them all simultaneously, either.
There should be 15 Torp HPs for the Akira, 10 for the Sovereign, and so on. But there should only be one actual launcher.

DOES ANYONE LISTEN? Does anyone dang listen, DITL is bull. No offense TMP dude, but the TMP ships are all weak and worthless when it comes to battle, in ds9 they were cannon fodder. Newer ships should replace the old boring ones that don't do the job anymore

DITL is not crap, yellow and green writing is canon and white is a verry good estimate, but im just saying how would he get the 2100 ships count. If the federation ship yard could produce faster than the TMP ships would be completley crapped as they where mostyly used as cannon fodder and destroyed in the dom war.

Please if u could, show a cannon, official pic with these torp tubes highlighted. DITL says that breen have no blood and are filled with air holes that go through their body. Thats insane. Not to mention half their facts are wrong

I can't get a picture, but there were 7 in the pod, and 8 in the saucer At least I think. This was a month ago.
And the fact that the Breen have no blood is cannon. Similarly, most of their facts are either cannon or a reasonable guess. Stop badmouthing the site. It is mostly cannon.
