As stated in the title, I wonder why the menu to the left on the main FO page is fading in so slowly...

At first I thought my browser simply couldn't display your webdesign features, but when I wanted to take a screenshot of how it looks on my PC, I saw that the menu items were just fading in, but very slowly.

So it takes about 15-20 seconds until I can read the menu and all in all about a minute until it has completely faded in.

I'm using IE 5.5 (with Netscape 7, there is no fade in effect at all, the menu is clearly visible after loading the page is complete).

Is there something wrong with the timer of the fade in tool? (Java-Script? Java-Applet? Whatever it is...)

the fade in effect will be removed soon anyway as the menu will be replaced with another one, the fade in effect was thought for test purposes Smiley. these fade in effects cause problems on some computers, i don't know why has something to do with the directx port they are using. i am currently using mozilla firebird so i don't even see the fade in effect too.
