just because u don't like or use infinite resources doesn't mean they should take it out, it doesn't defeat the purpose it just makes things easier

Dosent matter Valorous im beating you...erm well I think I just developed a very good strategy, successfully tested and perfected. I'd still probably lose but it works out really well. I hate infinate and high resources, you dont truely beat someone unless you take over every moon you can, cut them off from every moon, mine the hell outta the moons, and unleash the fury on the enemy base only an hour of empty skirmishes can provide.

Well, I usualy play high recources on maps with less moons. I do think that infinte recources and ceasefire should be taken out.

Playing with Inf. Resources just isn't fair. You can insanely create an impenetrable base, and a massive fleet. Limited resources balances out the game, making sure that you have to defend your mining, balance between attack and defence, and spend resources wisely.

To TMP_Rules: I am developing a new strat at the moment. I will not post it. I can't wait until I can try it on you. It is quite good. I beat 7 AI Hards - All Noxter - with it.

Oh by all means keep infinate resources, it is useful when testing new races. The 'real' players just dont have to use it. I hope cease-fire isnt takin out. Its great for keeping the rushers at bay.

Inf. Resources should be kept, I guess. But I will never play a game with them. Except games for Screen Shots and Tests. Did you know you can write words with Defence Platforms?

I am currently writing a book with Defence Platforms. I made a massive, empty map, turned on Inf. Resources, set build times to minimum, and began to write. It takes a lot of C Ships, but it is fun. The map is so big, it should take an hour for the enemy to get to my base.

Ok but I dont think that would happen with humans. I dont let my prey get any advantages.

I know. But it is fun to have a book on my map. I have a nice screenshot of a Borg Scout encountering the word "Destroyed". Very fitting. That was the state of the scout after a second or two.
