Ok most of us have been playing STO and I am just curious for if any of you have any tips for rank and leveling, or weopons to equip.
So far my advice is to do a variety of missions in order to get as much skill points as possible instead of just focusing on admiral quinn as it will soon get too hard to do the missions.

Ha! so thats the reason why i have higher rank than you...  and i still had time to help friends with misions i did misions from admiral but also all patrol misions and DSE misions... as for weapons.... i think cannons would be good for you (escort)  thus you have good turn rate i tend to equip beam arrays because of wide firing arc but i have cruiser and i cant turn fast enough to keep up with target i'm mort@mad_mort in STO if anyone wants to find me |

aww, WTH, ive been a damn Lt for 8 levels now.
last time i checked, it was Ensign, Lt (jr grade) Lt, Lt Cmdr, Captain, and then 4 levels of Admirals

its Ensign in Tutorial then Lieutenant Lieutenant Commander Commander Captain i am not sure what is next rear admiral... maybe and each rank has 10 grades so when you complete 10th grade and spend certain amount of points... then you are ordered to visit admiral in earth space dock to get promoted |
