first off, let me say I am not an expert but I think that most of the text can be found in the file named Dynamic_Localized_Strings.h this file should be located in the data folder of the MOD.

you can open this file with a simple .txt editor like note pad or word pad

I would recomend asking for more help from the programmers, who should post on this thread soon. but feel free to ask any questions you have, there are a lot of people here who can help you.

i think another problem may be that armada 2 does only support ASCII encoding meaning that Chinese characters may not be usable...

those are probably the special characters used for colored text missinterpreted by your text-editor, try using a different one that does only support ascii charsets (or that allows you to chose the encoding, like notepad++)

i'll add a todo but i doubt if it possible to integrate utf-8. we don't have access to the source code and the text printing engine of armada 2 is quite complex. it doesn't work with a font file but with a texture.
