Exactly! Like me for example! That's why I am going to loose and Lexxy is going to win. That will cure his issue... I know, I know... I'm a genius.  LOL

well, i dont play much online anymore because..., well, im waiting for the new patch^^
no really, i never was a really good gamer, but i could always imagine which different tactics are possible to use, i just wasn't good enough in micro to use them... my problem with fleetops is that i have the felling to h ave already tried everything, so that the games get kinda.. repetitive Sad
another point is that i often play with my school friend and this way i am often busy although nobody sees it (he uses wippien but has added noone but me and dom till now)

aaannnd, maybe because i hadnt acess to the internet the last month and i have to read all the posts you wrote in that time  Cheesy

We should have matches where people TRY to lose, and the opponents have to try and stop themselves from destroying the enemy ships  LOL

I'd probably win all the time... LOL Though I must say, practicing a 2vs1 or 3vs1 game is actually an effective way of training I am now using... who suggested that? I want to thank him! Cheesy

I am improveing... it is still hard for me to get a good Romulan or Klingon strategy though. Though I am good with Dominion, and improving with the Feds. Wink

hey,  i'm right here   Sad

words can hurt too man, sometimes more than a fist. Cry

i used to love playing online,  it had to be wippien cause gamespy hates me.  and i never heard of that hitachi thing.

but even on Wippien, people are "on"  but dont respond cause they are in games, (or just ducking me)  or waiting on there darn HotPockets to get done cooking.  and wippen tolerates me, but till this day, i still can NEVER see Mort.  he can be in a game or I can be in a game but if we both try to join someone elses game (that we can both see)  its first come gets in and blocks the second.

also, it seems like 85% of yous on here are from "across the pond" and when i get home from work, you all are in bed.

and re-aranging things, has left the ole computer and internet access burried in a pile in the living room i still cant get to yet.

but aside from all that, i love to play online.   Cheesy

Haha there are a number of people in Europe and a number in the States.

Dominus is East Coast US if I'm not wrong-
  I'm West Coast US.
  Veronw is West Coast US
  Stardust is Belgium, EU
  Mort is Czech Republic, EU
  Eraldo is UK
  GreatGreenGoo is West Coast, US
There are a couple others from Southern California as well...

You just gotta figure out a couple times per day when people seem to be on.  I have a bad habit of leaving wippien open because when I close it the thing stays on.    Give it some time and you will find out when people are around to play with you.  I don't see Mort much except in the mornings (for me) or sometimes late at night.

I don't think Mort sleeps.  He gets rapid eye movement from microing all his ships and that rejuvinates him. Cheesy

Edit:  I'm also from Midwest, US.  It could be argued that half the players are from North America, half from Europe.  Somewhere around there.

Nah, silly.  Mort just steps into his alcove for a few hours a day and regenerates

Don't forget a couple of Aussies.

and the little irrelevant base of german players(like me , jan , and doca + Optec if my mind serves me right)

so in short, the fleetops community is a pretty multi cultured area, maybe we should found a state to show how good people can live with each other? LOL?
