the first thing you do is lune them to your base, then when there shields are down beam over to the ship with your stations (this may take some time kill all the crew depends on the amount of crew on the ship), when u have the ship repair it and use it to protect your Base, scout or attack them back. repeat to get more ships, until you have a fleet of ships and attack there base.

Don't forget to use the captured ships's special abilities to aid your attack!

Canaveral I think the name is. (think it should be replaced by the Nova or Exclesior 1, it's the big explorer vessel for 80 years in starfleet Smiley )

The Canaveral is actually an original design that Doca & Optec found on the net one day. I remember seeing it a while ago, just a single CGI picture, it was known as the Sentinel..... but i digress.
Actually I like the Canaveral, one of my favourites.

Just to spite me eh? LOL  No i'm just kidding, it does have it's own distinct look I suppose and good for Phaser support in fleet actions. Don't really use the probe because it dosent have a very far range or show very much, but still may come in handy one day.

actually i think the probe goes to farthest explored line of sight.  Just things cant be in the way.  I didnt really test it though- it kind of defeats the probes purpose.  Its good in game to check nebulas but not much else.  It would be cool if it could go to unexplored places.

yep, in beta3 the canaveral is a support vessel, which means the probe is only it initial ability and it can be upgraded with 2 additional abilities at level 2 and 3.
i think the canaveral modell will be replaced in one of the next betas, i don't like its design anymore, too Smiley

edit: okay i changed something on the probe. the probe does no longer need a target but just flies in the direction the canaveral is facing. you can even unravel unexplored space this way
