Hi. Can anyone tell me how to create the minimap .bmp in the editor?

if you save your map with crtl+s than armada generats a minimap Bmp

Hi and welcome to the forums!

while in the normal editing mode, press ctrl+s (while pointing on somewhere in the map, not a interface item or the minimap) to open the save dialog. save your map and the mepeditor will create the bmp for you.
(tip: you can avoid the rectangle which shows you where you are in the bmp by scrolling to the upper right corner and zoom in untill the rectange disappears.)

oops, i'm dumb :omg:

i've never used another way of saving my maps but there's no minimap

(hmm... what is "normal editing mode")

have you perhaps disable GUI elements like the minimap?

I didn't even know that you can do that.

Ok let's do it step by step.
1. starting the editor
2. choose "edit an existing map"
3. loading the map
4. pointing at free space in the map (means "nothing")
5. crtl+s
6. save
7. done

am i right

The minimap will only be saved, when u set the game graphics settings to 800x600x16 before saving or editing.
