Not much new, I'm only doing it at weekends now since I'm back at Uni. Busy this weekend I think, but might be able to get some done next weekend.

I'm going through MMM now again, and I'm adding docs on the framework and how to use it to a Wiki. Hopefully this will build up nicely to a release.

Ivanova:  Request denied. Have a nice day.

I have a question.  Well, first off, I tried your mod and it works well.  Here's my question.

I'm wanting to create a series of missions with a mod I'm working on.  One is a tutorial on how all of the units work, the other is a series of 10 missions that replace the Klingon missions.  Would I be able to copy the DLL's for the mission I'm building and create a LUA directory of my own for each mission and have it work?  Or would that require more coding?  Also, once you figure out all of Armada2's commands, could you release a sort of SDK to help other modders build the mission DLL's of their own?

By the way, I wasn't able to complete all of the tasks of the modified tutorial, but it was fun trying.  Great work!

are you still taking feature requests Megadroid...cause I can think of a couple.
I spent months trying to figure a way to add mission specific sound events to maps. for example... when the player encounters a race for the first time a sound event is programed to play...like a greeting or challenge. the option to have a sound event or a video in the cineractive window would be great. Also would it be possible to script "treaty mission maps"? where the player can elimenate the ai players or possibly befriend and ai opponent by giving it resources or destroying a certain number of their ships and stations (force it to friendship)? Sound event triggered by entering a certain section of the map. Example: think of an imaginary line across the middle of the map, the feds start point is in the bottom half, when a fed ship crosses into the upper half were the ai klingon start point is, it will trigger a sound event or video in the cineractive window. You could add wav events like "warning, you have entered klingon space" or create a video of a klingon warning you to leave klingon space or you will be attacked.
Can asteroid belts be programmed to move like in Armada 1. I miss those asteroids. Someone else asked if you could link two diffrent maps by a wormhole, so I won't go there.
If I can think of more I will post.

I'm building an assault map that is going to use the mmm_loader.  The thread is at the MMM forum.

No, you just need the DSL file, but you will need to make lua files for your level. Now that I have the internet again after a month and a bit of not having it, I will be making some tutorials and adding them to the site.

I was just introduced to MMM by Dominus_Noctis and I also registered there. I was hoping to learn more about these tools to make/edit campaign missions because for my mod, I'm planning on removing the Tutorials and adding a Fourth Campaign mission that will involve all the races that I have in the game.

Quick question.

Is anyone have problems running MMM on Windows XP 32-bit Home Edition with Service Pack 3?

I'm actually still alittle confused about all of this MMM and the editing tools. I know that others have created new missions for Armada II and totally rewriten all the campaigns but did they too use MMM or did they do something else. I believe (someone tell me if I'm wrong) but the MMM tools will actually make it possible to open the files in the mission folder that look strange in notepad?

Can anyone please give me a few more pointers on this aspect of modding?
