Installed a fresh copy of the mod, and when I try to run the patch app, a dos console window appears and I get this error message: NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction CS:054e IP:0295 OP:63 6f 6d 3c 2f then it gives me the option of cancelling, or ignore....neither does anything special - if I ignore it just sits there... any Ideas???

Hello All--This is my first post.  First I love this game-- my hat is off to the modders who made this.  Second-- I also am encountering the this problem when trying to download patch 2.  I have tried multiple times on multiple computers from multiple different websites.  Still no luck.  Help?!   The game is very good as is but not having the patch is keeping me from playing other humans online.  Thanks so much to anyone who can help. -

I think I heard something about the downloads being corrupt, is that true? If so, then you could probley get it off Armada2Files.com unless you already tried that too.

Oh yeah....Welcome to the Fleet Operations Forum, hope you have a good stay. Wink

Had the very same problem with the DOS window.  Armada2files.com has the corrupt file.  Had to use masters-hosting.de to get the good one. Smiley
