I noticed the same install error when both times I installed FO.I just clicked ignore and I have had no problems with any aspect of the mod.I can play it fine and map editor and components loads just fine.

I run Win XP Pro and have a top system so that may be crucial as 9x systems can't seem to handle errors of any kind.

no, that file is irrelevant with different game versions, make sure you both have only fleetops beta 2 and ONLY patch 2 installed. no previous patches (should be no problem anyway...)

hallo together, i am new in this forum. I have downloadet this mod an have the same problem. Before the installation ends, there comes the error messsage with this msvcp60.dll and that with can't write msvcrt.dll or something.
I installed the newest version of msvcrt.dll from miscrosoft library, same prob.
I also tryed to press "ignore", but afterwards i had some problems with my system (win 98SE). The windows explorer didn't work, system freezes... some other programms freezes...my wheel-mouse doesn't work and so on.
After deinstalling fleetopsbeta2, my system runs well again.
So, do someone have an idea?

ÄÄhm, sorry for my english, its a long time ago i was in school  Wink

Thanks for helping

Wink

Danke

this is a ruff translation from a website:

Of your "Äähm" and that "hello" latch I once that you "write" otherwise German.

If you that in English is complicated too, write believe will understand it quietly in German, I the total FO team you
