Thanks, as always, Optec. I assumed you guys would've adjusted costs for balance, but I had to ask. :-p i think ray ment 3.0.6, 3.0.7, and 3.1.0 respectively... which reminds me: i think the devs made it x.x.x as opposed to x.xx so they could string us along with 3.0 as long as they wanted to before moving to 3.1. Personally, I feel 3.0.5a and so forth feels more Star-Trekkie...or is it Trekkish?...ya know, with star-dates, and coordinates and such.

now will it be possible to set the ships to go somewhere once they are done being built? cause right now they build instantly and you send them where you want, but after the patch they could stay at your "yard" until you notice they are done.

Crazy question, Optec. Let's say in a 4v4, all the allys give their resources to the borg player, who then with 16,000 dilithium and 8,000 tritanium makes constant purchases, gets enough collective connections for a Cube, and then sends that cube within minutes of the game's beginning to his enemies. Would this be possible under the new system? I know that seems far fetched, but if people are willing to use the give unit exploit on dreadnoughts, then I'm sure they'll do that kind of thing with the Borg if there's no check for that. Hell, I'd do it once just for the shock value.

theoretically possible, but collective connections dont accumulate that fast by the time he would be able to get a cube, at least one or two of his allies will be gone

honestly to me "Collective connections sounds like a measure of how much "pull" you have within the collective to get ships and equipment.

I hear it like power plugs or batteries. Perhaps it could be called Vinculumns the way I'm picturing it, though. I see the borg manufacturing the hearts of their vessels and doling them out as needed, but the single most advanced part of any borg ship can only be built so fast...

Do the connection spent on a vessel return after that ship is destroyed ?

I'm suspecting that it is like supply, where you dont get it back from decommissioning or destruction.

Finally I can't tell when Borg opponents are building!!! Oh, and btw, I love the replacement resource for the Priority, although can you directly mine them from a moon, like Doms can with Supply?
