Last time Eufnoc and I tried to set up an internet game, I got the same error message. "The host has a different version" and so on.
I did not try it again for some time... but I think the problem should still exist.

Just discovered when installing that
Fleet Operations - Hotfix 1 - Patch 1
and
Fleet Operations - Patch 1
installations are not compatible
so pls. forget about the old hotfix and just install patch 1. hope that fixes your problem with incompatibility

I seem to have the same problem with FOps. We install the mod and beta patch 2 and my friend gets "The host has a different version". We only seem to have a problem with this mod though
