If the Galactic empire did somehow wind up in the Star Trek universe, who do you think they would most likely prefer to ally with, if anyone?
My money goes on the Terrans, their 2 empires are virtually identical.

Depends which version of the Terrans. Could be the canon ones or one of the virtually infinate alternate reality versions.

because they have the death star Err... Do you not recall the trench scene... It has that famous line "use the force, Luke..." maybe you've heard of it? Anyway, what's to stop a Federation fighter (or maybe even a Runabout) from doing the exact same thing? First off, the lack of "the Force" would be more than compensated for by the Star Trek ship's vastly superior sensors... Star Destroyer sensors can't track hull contacts, whereas NX class sensors can (ENT: Minefield), have trouble tracking track vertical drops according to one of the novels (Star Trek ships have never displayed such a bizzare limitation), couldn't spot the MF masked only by garbage, and apparently couldn't detect the MF's drive trail as she came to a screaming halt in order to latch on the destroyer, whereas the Ent-E was counting the number of particles of spacedust per cubic meter in First Contact and the Jenolin could track the Ent-Ds drive emissions in TNG: Relics and, apparently, Rebel sensors are no better, failed to detect the Imperial fleet (including the 19 km long Executor) on the other side of Endor (a moon), whereas the Enterprise was able to track the Reliant on the other side of Regula (a planet)... Second, even granting that a Runabout (but probbly not a fighter) would probably be less manuverable than an X-Wing (though we've seen Runabouts pull some pretty impressive manuvers when being chased by Jem'Hadar attack ships), this would be compensated for by the Runabout's vastly superior hull strength... A runabout can survive (and continue fuctioning) after a direct hit from the capital ship grade weapons of a Jem'Hadar attack ship... Let's see your unshielded TIE Fighters and X-Wings do that... Hmm i would vote for Romulans, cloaking device are handy becouse i don't think the Rebels are having anti cloak sensors. Besides Romulans are masters in sabotage and spying. They could be a great asset to the Empire

X-wing fighters do have shields.
Starwars vs Startrek has been done before on a dozen other forums, and I believe it is almost always agreed that Starwars would pummel Startrek. Not only does Starwars use MUCH more powerful weapons (in terms of turbolasers etc) but their ships are much more heavily armored and much larger. Not to mention vastly superior in numbers.
Anyway, what's with the LHC Rhaz? Hopefully you haven't gotten yourself entranched in the whole "it's gonna make blackholes" gimmick...

It was a nice joke lol. I don't think a SW vs ST debate can really be had. SW wins when the 'EU' is included. But Canonically SW at best ties. I don't take sides, love them both. I want them to remain desperate. It is like comparing Apples and Oranges to abuse an old phrase.
BTW The Empire has cloaking. I mean if you subscribe to the EU.
