To all the people who sent me an email (sorry, lost them all due to the harddrive crash a few month ago) about voice acting in Fleet Operations or who intends to do that, pls sentd your mails with an example of your beautiful voice to Optec, not to me. an example could be whatever you like and you think could make us interested in you  ) we are also looking for female voices so why not take your sisters or girlfriends...ok thx  DOCa Cola |

It shows up ok on my screen. I did increase the brightness, but I will increase it more for the next one. I don't know how you pay for this site but if you are looking for a free host have a look at this page. You seem to be doing well as it is, the offer is always there if you do have any problems. |

DOCa Cola, fair enough. I am not looking to try a get a site which would bring more people to Armada Universe or for any other reason, I am just trying to help in any way I can. The offer is always there if you get stuck.
Sorry cts006, is that directed at me?
FilePlanet is part of the GameSpy Network so all of our files are put onto there otherwise we would have to pay for space elsewhere. I once thought exactly the same as you did about GameSpy and FilePlanet. I don't think any other site or person could do what they are doing for free. Most peopl go to large sites like FilePlanet, some even go there to get the download to then stick in their downloads section.
There is no waiting for 99% of the files that are on Armada Universe. The only time you wait for files on FilePlanet is when it is a very popular file, which makes sense.

humm how about trying some of the ones that www.armada2files.com i know that there is that ozey one that takes years for us but there is another one and i think they are ran by adverts so they are possibley free |

I have linked to the download pages on our download page here because I knew some people don't like FilePlanet. The Files Network are in the same position as GameSpy Hosted sites. The only other site that doesn't have a waiting time is Armada Fleet Command. I know it isn't cheap for him to keep that site running, so you should understand that when downloading from there, and be thankful for it. |

I know FilesNetwork has a waiting time system, but not once since it's been implemented has it ever taken effect for me. I don't think i's much of an issue, because we don't get nearly the number of people that use GameSpy.
