Why, when a Sovereign Class retreats, does it fire Phasers at pursuers from the aft Shuttlebay instead of the Phaser emitters that should be on the Nacelle Pylons?

why is the banana yellow?

I mean seriously; Be happy that it fires at all; It doesn't matter from where it fires;

It was a question, not a complaint. I was curious.

Well, the Sovereign refit has phasers on the nacelle pylons...however the stock Sovereign has phasers running ventral under the engineering hull, and it is therefore much more probable that the Sovereign in fleet operations is th standard and it is firing from nearly the correct spot =].

The engineering phser is close to the deflector, the one in FO fires from the Shuttlebay or the runway behind it.

The sovy was getting a new model refit anyway, I suppose it doesn't hurt to add it to the list.

Oh come on guys, it doesn't ruin the playability of the game at all!
Why poke the team with such things, why not just let them focus on the main features to get a release at least this year?...

This can wait for a patch...

Thats the h_hp08 hardpoint.
I've just moved it to underneath the shuttle bay. If you want I can move it somewhere else. But as auxilio ab alto said if the devs are re-doing the model it doesn’t really matter.

@ optec, I hope you don’t mind me moving the hardpoint, I can remove the file if you like  Azn

here's the link:
<a href="fed_sovereign.SOD - FileFront.com title="fed_sovereign.SOD">fed_sovereign.SOD</a>

Just past it into :\Program Files\Activision\Star Trek Armada II Fleet Operations V3 PR\sod
folder but make sure you back up fed_sovereign.SOD first.
