okay..then my idea will have to go on hold..because a fusion weapon won't work for what i want....i need to be able to have two options for this..and a fusion won't give me what i need...

you could look at how they did it in the Preview release of Flops. that is the first thing I would do

they have more than one replace weapon on a ship/station?

edit: I'm going through the FO3PR files and they have another classlabel that we don't have in Armada 2 called "changedODF" is there any chance of getting this classlabel for the patchproject? or modifying "replaceweapon" to be used more than once on a ship/station?

changeodf is fully replaced by replaceweapon in the v3 release.
have you tried using several replaceweapons with different buttonslots? there is an armada issue with auto-grouping of buttons, that will probably be solved in a future patch release

work on the patch project will continue as soon as v3 is released. in other words i am going to pull put betas right after the release.

and yes, that only one replaceweapon shows up on a vessel is an issue with armada 2's special weapon handling. the weapon is acutally on the vessel but you cannot activate it as you have no button for it. the same applies to all other weapons that are currently in the game if they are identical.
the behavior is changed in the current dev version of FO and will be with a special switch available to modders in the next release of the PP.
