Holy crap peeps i just got finished playing rom vs borg (me rom) and the AI was set on Hard. Even though i have played many games sence beta 2 came out i am still not prepared for the AI. I had 42 ships thinking ok i can take them......well i did but ended up with 18 ships left. Nice work on the AI guys very nice work.  

Here is a pic of those 18 ships left....

The Noxter AI rocks. I was playing me and a borg hard vs two Noxter Medium/Hard's....I was dead in like 10 minutes. The Hard Borg AI lasted about 10 seconds longer. But now I have a handle on them and they're not fairing so well in my last game. They have those damn area effect weapons that absolutely slaughter fleets....

yep. thats true. and one of the balance changes for beta2 is a reduction of the damage the scourge (the area weapon organism) does Smiley

ah and i have to correct the noxter AI a bit.. its to rushing Smiley

Oh thank god.......that thing wipped out a goodly portion of every fleet I've sent at them....

I know what ya mean tib, when i was playing against noxtor on Hard i lost within 5 min of stating (ok well maybe 10-20 min of starting Cheesy ).

i had an map where i placed a team on it's own (it defended it's self from attack) and the noxter destoryed it as soon as the cease fire was over then stright onto me and an innocent np brren ship
