Is there any way to play FO without the CD? Since it doesn't work with the crack, its the only version of Armada I cannot play anymore.

you could try using virtualdrive manager... some versions are free to use (like the one I use)

Well ... VirtualDrive - Play game without CD, CD/DVD emulation, DVD jukebox/tower emulator
That's a quick link... I have no idea if it'll work though (I have my version from ages ago... back when it was free in China, so I just kept upgrading it for free even though the upgraded versions are normally for cost  LOL)

Do you have a CD to use though? Cuz you do need to load it into the virtual drive first to get a copy made... How are you playing the other versions if you don't have a CD anyway though?

I use a No-CD crack for the normal versions already loaded. Only Fleet Ops is unavailable, it was installed before my disk went on the fritz and doesn't seem to work with the crack.

You can't replace armada.exe with a no-cd hack, since Fleetops has moved the original .exe to armada.tgt.  If you replace this file with the no-cd hack, you should be fine.  I haven't played Fleetops with a CD ever.

use the install.zip or the vista compatibility issue as it comes with the no cd crack, but please only do that if you own the cd.

Now I can play Fleet ops again. Perfect. Does the 'install.zip' interfere with Multiplayer?
