Some Races have a fast mine rate?

Me and Skitzeh where playing a 7V7 (5 AI HARD), we where both fighting for control of moons i held it the longest before being double teamed by Skitzeh and an AI, I know he had no other moon bases as I was clocked and was destroying them as he built them to make sure.

After examining the admirals logs Skitzeh had clearly mines 10k more than me and every other AI, anyone know how?

the second weapon upgrade increases the miningrate

yeah, or the armory for the klingons

"increases the rate of fire by 5 percent" this also effects the "reloadtime" of the mingings beams of the mining freighters
