right I've finally got FOPR working on my laptop again and i was gonna restart making a mod for FO3PR. this mod will hopefully add a 3rd avatar to the dominion to include cardassian failing that i'll stick with 2 one with cardassian and one with breen (both will have a full dominion force as the main force. I'll also try and add the Borg and Noxter from FO2. Noxter will recieve 8472 as an avatar while borg I'm not 100% on yet. The final thing that the mod will hopefully include warp.

any help with this mod would be welcome. (also Vista capability will b included)

managed to get the third avatar onto the dominion so i just gotta install the cardassian ships  Cheesy

very cool, one thing i will suggest if you have noxter in there, make the acid turrets less powerfull they are sooooo unbalanced.

yh ok i'll try and balance them all
update i got all 6 races working just need to add 8472 to the noxter
i've tried to add warp drive but th effect is missing i just get a white square
also the odf's for the borg and noxter need redoing for adding supply and balacing

I'll need  beta testers soon

Sounds great. But not to burst your bubble . Will it be compatible with the New Fleet Op.  Pr3 ? There has been other mods I liked  like (Fed Dreadnaught missle and  Borg Dragons Tooth and Borg Deamon star,  and a few others  but they would not work with Fleet Ops   only   Vinilla  A2. so the play value was reduced.

I'm doing this mod on fleet ops 3PR (unpatched the FO3pr patch1 made it stop working :s)
up2 now i have found one minor error and thats the noxter larva are not showing (need to test more units only really tested the starting units so far)

as for the cardassians how many cardassian vessels should i include (since the breen alliance only added 2 vessels)and any ideas for the borg (atm no avatars need thoughts on them)

EDIT

depending how it goes wen  FO 3 comes out I'll try and add the Noxter/8472 and cardassian to it (no need for the borg since there included) and does anyone know how or why ships like the noxter lava do not show

sadly Fleet Operations v3 will change much of the file structure and odf parameters again, but a v3pr mod should be convertable to the v3 release with acceptable work

thats ok i dont mind doing a little work to get it working in FO3
but is there away to fix the models that do not show


atm ive gone through the noxter and these are the ones that do not show
8472_cocoon
noxter_defiler
noxter_defiler_chamber
noxter_evulator
noxter_larva
noxter_stinger
noxter_ursidik_den

I still need to go through 8472, cardassian and borg.

EDIT

problem solved emitters were mising front the sprites files (i feel dumb now Sad )

Update
ok i'm having problems getting the noxter AI working using the FO2 ai files and its just doing nothing (the borgs seam to work ok)

sortta solved the AI error (forgot to change latinum to tritan)

now the AI will not evolve larva or build non-larva type (ships that evolve) from the breeder (human player can use them as normal though) is there a reason for this if so can it be sorted

you have to go into the build list AIP's and tell it to evolve them yourself, the AI is Armada is very basic and just follows a basic build list.
