I have one word for the problem of not being able to drink the water ... BEER!!!!!!! Since that is how a lot of problems with bad water were solved in past times.

Welcome to earth... its a place full of bacteria and all other sort of germs. Don't worry.... these times will pass and until then I guess you have to stick with boiled water OR get some drinking water from the store OR wait until Mr. Brown sends emergency rations to your place. I don't know how serious your situation is over there but that should teach you something and better to keep it in mind: Our way of life in the western world is not obvious at all.

...actually I don't think beer is strong enough; watered down wine will work though ... or really watered down vodka (or not watered down ) Sorry to hear about it mate . Hopefully it gets resolved soon though.

Globule worming = more microbes viruses and bacteria they all like heat. Stop using things that require oil bring you own bags when you go to the store bags require lots of oil to be used to make them.
Car tires the asphalt requires oil to be made also plexus glass with is plastic requires oil just making the D_mn car requires lots of oil... Be mindful of this and tell other be at the cos of a sultan.

Yep and some microbes like cooler temperatures. So if this planet was cooling down instead of warming up, we would have to stand in the streets emptying hairspray cans in the atmosphere? You cant blame EVERYTHING on global warming, some things yes but when some fucking student forgot to wash his hands b4 working with water I dont think its global warmings fault Anyway that sux that you have to boil the water to use it. I hope everything blows away soon

Aread Baron, although almost all virulent viruses and bacteria that affect us, our livestock, and our plants like warmer climates (Malaria, TMV, TB, Cholera, Typhus, Anthrax etc...) ... and one of the many predictions of the effects of global warming has these diseases spiking and affecting nearly 3/4 of the human population (I believe Typhus is estimated to afflict 3.5 billion people in 2030... right now it is in the hundreds of millions I think) In fact, it has already begun

I seriously doubt a few degrees will kill every human on the planet, and that's even if Global Warming actually exists. Not going to start a political debate, and in short, sucks to have to buy bottled water.
Reminds me of taking a trip to the Appalachians to visit my cousins. The water there is clean, but is full of sulfer. You constantly get the feeling that your hands aren't clean, and the water ALWAYS smells funny. Not contaminated per se, but it annoying nevertheless.

Global warming IS existent and viruses ARE able to reach our climates when a certain average temperature has exceeded. There is no point to deny that even for a very conservative person. Just have a look outside... winter time becomes warmer and warmer over here, glaciers in Austria and Swiss decreased drastically over the last few years (which is a normal thing but enhanced through our impact). The cause of climate change is another question. But once conditions become similar to tropics/subtropics nothing can hold the spread. However, those viruses would become inactive in winter time when it's below a temperature that makes them infectious. So I don't think Eufnoc is going to die from a Malaria or any other tropical disease. We will see....
